The flight to San José is not included in the participation fee.

Specific Information for ISU 07.2008:
Due to the current airline policies group offers have been more expensive than the flight offers that can be obtained individually.You may use these platforms to search for the flight that is most convenient to you:

• We recommend www.orbitz.com for flights exactly from your departure city in the US or Europe.
• Other airlines/services: www.condor.de, www.martinair.com, ww.iberia.com,
  www.delta.com, www.aa.com, www.continental.com, www.kayak.com, www.cheaptickets.com.
  For better rates, you might want to check flights from/to major airport hubs and arrange for additional transportation to/from the hub (eg. bus, train, private vehicle).

General information:
Please inquire with your personal travel agency immediately after nomination in order to find out about your flight options. For our summer universities we usually offer common flights from the airline hub (e.g. Amsterdam) to the final destination San José. As students from various countries within Europe are received, the intraeuropean flight to the hub has to be organized individually. Information, flight schedule and prices on the common flight will be posted on this site as soon as they are fixed. The availability of a group flight cannot be guaranteed.

Students of all universities are asked to be in San José, Costa Rica, by the official starting date of the program and to transmit their flight information within two weeks after nomination. Only then an airport pick up can be arranged. In case you arrive early or leave late you will be responsible for your accomodation, meals etc yourself until or from the offical starting or ending date. You also might lose the option of included airport pick up and drop off if you arrive/depart at a different date. In this case you will receive all necessary information to meet up with the group for the first overnight stay of the program.
