Application to the INEX Summer University Costa Rica is open to all students of INEX partner universities and students of most other renown academic institutions. In case your university is not listed you might still be eligible. Please contact Institutional Relations for further steps.

Please make sure to submit the online application until the following dates:

             ISU Costa Rica 07.2008 (July 2008 program): 15 May 2008
             We strongly recommend to apply as early as possible.

>> Application procedure:

We are glad to introduce a completely new designed application procedure that makes application more convenient and faster for all parties involved. For a successful application you are required to complete the online application form and to upload the following files:
            - curriculum vitae
            - letter of motivation (in English language)
            - grade transcript of home university
            - photo of yourself
            - scanned version of the picture page of your passport

By submitting your application online you agree to the INEX General Terms and Conditions and automatically start the nomination process. You acknowledge that your application is binding and that the INEX Withdrawal or Deferral Refund Policy applies from the moment of submission. This means that you can withdraw from your application without cost until the moment of nomination.

From the moment of nomination a cancellation fee of 20% of the participation fee is due, to cover cost incurred at the moment of confirming your spot. (As a non-profit organization INEX aimes to provide most favorable rates to all participants and therefore does not want to spread your cancellation cost to other students and increase their fee.) After receipt of your online application data we immediatly start the screening process of your documents. In case we are missing data from you or need additional data to check your eligibility we will get in touch with you.
Please note that the nomination letter is sent via email. Thus, please double check the spelling of your email address when submitting your application!

After nomination you will also receive:
              - additional data on the program
              - the INEX Housing and Spanish Form
              - the INEX Waiver and Insurance Confirmation
              - data for payment of the participation fee
          
Necessary steps have to be taken by the following dates:

             ISU Costa Rica 07.2008 - July program:
             Nomination: usually within one week after individual application
             Payment of entire program fee: within one week after nomination
             Submission the INEX Housing and Spanish Form and the INEX Waiver and Insurance Confirmation:
             within one week after nomination
